Starting 2026, ShakaPaws Pet Services will be implementing new policies. This helps us to continue providing reliable, high-quality care, and support, while growing our team and accommodate the increasing demand. Please reach out with any questions.

Cancellations

We understand life happens and cancellations may occur! Any bookings cancelled within 24 hours of the service will be charged 50% of the remaining balance.

Last Minute Bookings

Any bookings made within 24 hours of the requested service time will be subjected to a 5% surcharge.

Graveyard Hours

We have extended hours for anyone who needs any pet services from 9pm-6am! Due to the late hours, any services booked within these hours will be subjected to a $20 fee.

Pet Sitting After 6pm Rule

Due to our increasing bookings for pet sitting, to ensure our Service Providers are providing excellent service for their next clients, they must leave the residence by 6pm. There will be a 1-hour grace period and if requested to stay longer, will be subjected to pay for an additional day.

Contracts

All of our clients will have to sign a contract for every service that is booked. Ex. If you book a dog walk and drop in - you must sign both the dog walking and drop in contract.

Holiday Policies

Our holiday rates apply to all federal holidays, including Nevada Day!

How Holiday Pricing works

Dog Walks and Drop Ins:

Any services booked before the week of the holiday will receive standard pricing on any non-holiday.

Any Dog Walks and Drop Ins booked during the week of the holiday, the holiday and the holiday weekend, holiday rates will apply.

Pet Sitting in Your Home:

Due to the influx of traveling, holiday rates apply daily to pet sitting services for the whole duration of requested dates that fall on the week of the holiday, the holiday and the holiday weekend.
